Often people get confused regarding premium membership and sender ID. In this article we are going to see the difference between both the features.
Premium Membership – It gives you the option of hiding your mobile number while sending SMS. In this feature, the recipient of the message will not receive your number.
Sender ID – Sender ID is the identity through which the message is sent. It is the name with which your outgoing SMS will be sent.
Both these functionalities are different. It means that if you use the feature ‘premium membership’ then sender ID will not get activated automatically and vice versa. If you want to use both the features, you have to separately get them activated.
Note : If you use these features, apart from the amount charged for Sender ID and Premium Membership, bulk SMS cost will also be debited. Per SMS cost is deducted from your wallet balance whether you use both, use any one out of Premium Membership or Sender ID or use no feature.
